Next 10 seconds we are in there core and 14 C4s later boom we win and it couldn't have been more perfect. Everyone was watching a door or resupplying while we blew the core. We had NO titan left and we spanked that ass in about 2 minutes flat!!!!!!!! We were all screaming on the mic in disbelief. Sorry if I hurt anyone's ears but I really could not believe that shit. No way we should have one that one.
I couldn't believe we pulled that off.

Should have been on about 2 hours ago. One map on Suez (I think it was suez) was waaaay too close. I think we won it with enough health to die to the next missile. We still won it, and it was awesome to command, but damned if it wasn't close.

    L4D Tourney

Mr Cow sent me a PM message regarding this the other day, and I thought it was worth relaying to you guys in here as I think it's a good idea.

Basically, a Left 4 Dead VS Tournament. Forum members team up into groups of 4 and play each other in either a tournament or round-robin style. Winners get a cookie or something. Oh, and a 'staff' team is mandatory.

This was mentioned a while back when AzH first installed the 'ladder' mod for vB, but I think it got swept to one side with all the changing of hands and stuff.

I'd like to get a few forum games going again before we really looked at doing this seriously, and hopefully after this week I'll have the worst of my exams and work and shit like that behind me so I can get back to actually occasionally doing something round these parts.

Does anyone have any feelings/opinions/ripe fruit they'd like to contribute?

Getting enough people in on it may well be an issue... but if we can get regular forum games happening people should start to be more interested.

Yeah, that's why I don't want to try and get this off the ground straight away. After a few weeks of forum games running and once people are back in the groove, things might well be different, but any less than 6 teams and we're wasting our time.
