Re: SL Disregarding Direct Orders
Raven,
If people are jumping ship to avoid following orders, and we have an admin/reservist/reg in position as commander, then we are in a much better position to deal with said player.
The logic holds.
A squad member who leaves to start his own will either nut up and follow the commander, or be kicked banned.
Everyone active in the forums reading this needs to step up to help us improve gaming, and make a difference.
Seek those positions of leadership, it's the only way we keep the server clicking.

Damn, you guy's aren't kidding... I had a bunch of problems this afternoon. One pair that stood out was a clan tagged group of 3 guys in a locked squad, all snipers, that would not follow a damn thing I'd say. But it was taken care of nicely.
Ranger knows what I'm talking about, he was there leading one of the squads that were following orders.

Re: SL Disregarding Direct Orders
I was playing on Armory in Fall of Berlin (No one on TTP at 7:30 Pacific time) and I won my first battle as commander of the PAC. I was fortunate enough to have 4 highly responsive squads. Squad three was even willing to trudge halfway across the map to pick off single infantry units who were sneaking through the lines. We won by 117 tickets, I earned 154 points (my highest so far) and was awarded the gold star, which I never thought I'd see as commander. I was only awarded all of this because I was fortunate enough to have squads who followed my orders. SLs who disobey direct orders are not just ruining the round for their commander, but they hurt their own point totals as well. It's frustrating, because I'm certain I could have won other rounds as a commander, had I had squads as responsive as these. They called for orbital strikes when they wanted them and supply drops as well. I really only had to provide coordination for them to keep the lines together and pick off stragglers.
