Which is why reviving isn't a waste of time. Keep 2 or 3 medics in a normal infantry map, and your squad is suddenly taking 4 tickets for each one they lose. Or more.

but big, I've done most of that stuff, and I still suck.
I played Verdun for the first time last night as a part of the "Big'n'Co Armored Delivery Service" and I have to say, it did take some skill coordinating everything.
Then, we didn't have a commander, so I stepped up and sucked it up for a while, but that's another story.
I enjoyed the convoy action, I can't deny it. Though I'm not skilled at it, I can still be of some use.
I just wish squads could be larger so you could provide Close Air support to a squad, without halving the size of the convoy.
As a side note, I think I'm trademarking that as a brand:
"Big 'n' Co. Armored Delivery Service. Collateral damage is just a perk."

I love Verdun Conquest.
I love to command it with good squad leaders.
I sit in the gunner position of the lead tank and feel all General Patonish with my commmand HUD up and coordinate the convoys and pinchers from the front line and always know exactly where we need the next orbital. I tell my squad leaders to drive APCs or transports so my team always spawns right where we need to. I order one squad to be engineers and get rollers and EMP mines and they ambush the fuck out of the other teams armor groups while the rest of us steamroll everything in our way. When it all works out right due to great teampalyers following orders, it is very very pretty.
Sleep, eat, conquer, meditate, repeat.

Unless the PAC get a lot more speeders. We know that a speeder vs a goliath is nothing. But if you have say five speeders vs a goliath the TV missles should (if the team worked together) bring the goliath to it's knees quickly.
But since I really don't see four or five speeders fully loaded do this. I was thinking maybe the PAC has it's own forum of goliath.

The biggest thing about armor that i still don't see people doin on verdun is target awareness. When your with a buddy pounding on tanks coming at you, theres more to it then both of you focusing on one guy. Threat awareness is key to armor maps. On the fly evaluation of who's the bigger threat is just as key in armor fights as it is in infantry. Do you shoot the sniper at the ground at your feet or the guy 10 ft away that has his voss trained on you? :4
A new tank map will be awesome. Something different in general will be nice. The days of user made maps seems to be fleeting. I had over 500 maps in my quake 1 directory =(
