"Double Assault Lines" means that both home base flags will be locked until all other flags are held and can then be assaulted.
There will be NOT be a Goliath nor Speeders in the Tampa map as it is not a Northern Strike map. Expect only the Vehicles that came in the base game to be zoming around Tampa.

Re: Highway Tampa on 2142?
it's all about keeping people playing the game. NS brought all sorts of reasons for people to play. They won't be able to get all the NS awards, since some of them are specifically for arctic combat stuff. But goliath destruction, running people over in the hachimoto, winning an assault lines round.......they can get those.

NS has been out long enough...they made their profit. You have to balance out making profits, and keeping the game popular.
The more people say "man, I want to go play 2142", the more those people's friend say "really? it's cool? I guess I'll go buy it".

Re: Highway Tampa on 2142?
Maybe. But it only takes 3 people that own it and decide they want the new maps and new unlocks before EA makes as much off NS as they would off of a game of 2142. And actually, that's without figuring in whatever the stores make; from EA link it all goes right to them.
It just doesn't seem like EA's style.
