Hi.
Im looking for a small L4D xbox clan recruiting players. Why small? Because i like the idea of having a good small team to play with, who all know each other and can communicte well, who all have each others gamertags.
Just for fun or competitively, i don't mind.
Would be great if this clan had a website, if it is just a division of a clan thats fine.
Im from England, 16 years old, playing the game since december last year, I know what im doing.
I have a gamebattles account if thats needed. I have a mic.

The best way to join a clan is to just play with your friends. You all know each other, know how you each play, and are happy to play with each other whenever you're all online.

It may not be a full-on clan, but you'll do the same things as one, and who's gonna no anyway?

Yeh, all good points, the only problem is, most of my friends spend thier entire lives on COD5. I have one friend that I play regulary with on left 4 dead, so joining a clan would mean more people to play with, not just random people. Also I would like to do something competitive.

Yeah, I know people like that. Try joining public games until you find some people you like playing with, then check if they're in a clan. If so, ask if you can join. Otherwise, ask if they want to make one with you.

If you want some space filled whilst your geting established, add me, i'd be happy to tag along for awhile. I have a short temper though, so you might find yourself getting frustrated with me, which obviously isn't a good thing when you're trying to work together.

Thanks, iv'e never really thought about setting up my own clan, I was kind of hoping advertising my self like this might mean iI wouldn't have to, but yeh, I could do it.

Haha, sure ill add you. I tend to be kind of chilled out on left 4 dead, its Halo and stuff that I find myself screaming at the screen, so I won't mind if you lose your temper.

I think COD5 is the biggest screamer for me, there are way to many glitches. l4d I just find myself getting annoyed when the characters start telling you to heal, or shout 'Hunter!' just as you get pounced. It's generally the cause of not getting Safety First for a LONG time.

Yeah, starting your own clan can be a bit of work, but it's worth it. Not only do you get things run the way you want, but you can make sure everyone trying to join is a decent person. Set some goals, what you're playing for (Fun, competition, etc), Set some time aside for meetings, and have a good time uninterrupted from people trying to force you into clan battles and whatever.

If you go cross-platform as well, Steam is a good way to monitor clans. It saves buiding a website, and you can advertise yourself to everyone on PC.

Yeh using steam would be good, I've used the xfire clan service before. But I probably won't go cross platform. So setting up some some of website, like a TK one, or co nr something seems like the best idea.

Competitivly, I already have a Gamebattles.com clan set up for left 4 dead on the xbox, but me and my friend are the only active members, so Hopefully clan members i recruit will join that, I would love to do some matches.

Anyone looking to join, this is now a recruitment thread, although there are limited spaces, I only really want a team with a few more extra members.
