Mortar and Mulcher are only on certain stages like River or Stais (Not naming the others too lazy) but still just shotgun fest or running to Boomshot, longshot and Torque Bow.

Yes you should, even though it's painful and annoying to just be using shotgun and Lancer chainsaw.... Getting the levels and getting better at aiming is also the other good part of it besides just shotgun/chainsaw fast.

I just got into a chainsaw fest today and killed 11 people in GoW 2 with the chainsaw. In that match it was a chainsaw fest.

It was execution and I was lagging the whole match I couldn't hit anything so I went around with my chainsaw, chainsawing people.


Then I did it again but this time there was no lag and it was on execution and I killed 10 people in all the six rounds we had. Usually if a person tried to chainsaw all day in a match they would get round only 2 to 3 kills with it: but I guess I have learned the best time to chainsaw people, when they are busy in close range with another player, or unsuspecting rush on you, and when you coming up behind them.

Doing horde with only chainsaw... kinda stupid but works a bit againest wretches and Locust. For the bigger ones like Boomers and grinders... Don't even try.
