Thread: Frequent Kicks- previously ERROR READING SERVER and Lets all hope

ok, for the last hour or so i keep getting some freaking message when the map changes and sometimes between rounds. some shit about error reading or communcating with server. i get booted and it goes all the way back to the log in screen where you type your in game name and password. i log back in and play for a bit and as soon as the map changes or the round ends i get booted right back to that screen. i don't if it's a ttp problem or something else. i'm pretty sure this is happening to alot of people. every time i log back on there are a bunch of people missing from the server.

This is hapening to all EA games that I am awear of it is also happing to BF 2142 as well. I think EA needs to get some new shit.

In the last 3 days I've seen UAVillary, UAV's laying on the ground, Cartillary, The Server Replaying the same map in the rotation, Handshaking Failed, Punkbuster Client not Responding, Random massive Lag. Its like the end of the world (The Bf2 World that is) at this point Don't be surprised by any errors you get.

I fixed my last Error By Closing Bf2 Completly and Rerunning it. Or just Blame it on EA like I do!

No I just got off BF 2 its doing the same thing 2142 is doing when I was on half and hour ago. Its EA's shity stuff Oh well....

A server restart was executed around 8:05-8:10 pm CST tonight. Is the problem still occurring after the server restart or did that help reduce or eliminate the problem?

Yes CBRob because its EA not our servers 2142 server was restarted as well and its still happeing.

It is doing it everywhere, I think on everything....

ok, if that's a legitmate pb fix, then why isn't there a downloadable version of it? i shouldn't have to copy and paste a fix for any program. i'm not doubting that it will fix it, but there must be a better way.
