    I'm getting a Gameware one today, which seems to last a lot longer than the one I have ATM.
    I'm an idiot and I can't follow directions. So now I'm also banned.

    The one I bought does have a bit of background sound, but not too much and it certainly is ignorable. Yay for GAME!

    Indeed. Mics are so cheap that it's comical. It does get frustrating when someone is talking abd you can't hear what's being said because it's so crackly.

    Doesn't really bother me that much, but I can see why it would.
