Re: Leader or Follower?
I really enjoy commanding, and I'll usually step up if we notice part way through the game that there's no commander, unless I'm already leading a squad. Lately, though, I've been squad leading almost exclusively, and slowly getting the hang of staying alive long enough for the squad to do something useful. I'd say it's a split between the two.

I posted before I noticed this was in the 2142 section. For me 2142 loads faster than BF2. The 45 seconds is ok for 2142, but for BF2 depending on the map, and how long I have been playing, I usually get in about 30 seconds after the round starts. Which probably means that most people with decent computers are jsut fine with 45.

Re: Leader or Follower?
hmmm...Filter's "i Will Lead You" comes to mind...
It depends on when I join in...if i'm joining a map in progress I try and find squads that aren't completely full yet, if everything is booked...creation of GOONIES is at hand...or if the SL's whose squad i join in isn't communicating with 1) Commander 2) the squad...i try to coerce the other members into a "better" situation that promotes exactly what we do,...TEAM PLAYING!
