It's not really that difficult to notice. Simply watch what your team is doing, and check the scoreboard after they do it. I've pounced onto the smoker's survivor plenty of times, typically when he's either the last guy up or they've decided to leave him behind and run for it.

I don't understand why you're being all defensive when you're not even the one who made that idiotic post in the first place, and I was informing you all in the nicest way possible that you will not get a damage pounce on a constricted survivor. You two with the hunter avatars should really learn a bit more about the game before sharing your elite hunter strategies with the world.

And bolandjf is right about hunters pouncing smokers and not getting the damage. You will still get the credit for the pounce but no damage will be done by it.

I can also confirm this, constricted survivors do not take pounce damage.

Also doing high damage pounces is usually not a great idea. People with good aim will shoot you out of the sky before you even get close. Work with the team and go for short range pounces. If you do go for high pounces you should at least be decent at wall pouncing and kai jumping, you can use both of these skills to come in from odd angles.

Anyway the hunter has always been my favorite infected but it took me months to learn how to play with him. Even these days I'm finding new tricks. I'm finally good enough to hop around like this guy though: ^^
