And enter the key that you got in your e-mail when you purchased Northern Strike from the EA link store.

Then follow this install procedure:

- install the game
- install the 1.25 patch (or rather latest released patch, at the time of writing 1.25)
- install Northern Strike
- REINSTALL the 1.25 patch!
- go to http://www.evenbalance.com and download the Punkbuster updater and run it manually.

That should get it to work properly, I tried to tell you this yesterday investigator!

The above procedure has worked every single time I used it.

I did everything. On the phone now with EA (like that will help). I'll get it working eventually. Thanks for all the help and replys.





Got off the phone and i had sighned in on another account of mine, and thats what it is activated for. Unfortunatly, it wasnt the account with BF2142.

I hate getting kicked on the NS maps and losing all my field upgrades. Soon enough though.

I think they will be able to switch it over for me, just have to wait for account support to get back to me.

I really liked how the Charger attacked in the new PAX videos: he grabs the first guy who gets in his way, barrels though anybody else, slams him into a wall, and beats on him repeatedly. This change makes the Charger less like the Tank while also improving his ability to separate a group of survivors. This comes with the caveat that if the Charger grabs you in a wide open space the A.I. should slam you into the nearest wall, not drag you across the level like the Jockey. As the left for dead wiki pointed out, this is way overpowered for versus and would make some bosses moot. So in versus I would simply have the Charger rush into a group of survivors and manually grab one who is already knocked onto the ground. This balances out versus while making single player fun and exciting.

Nah, let'skeep it the same. This time around, this game is about the Infected.

I really don't see the need to change how the Charger attack.

The survivors are gonna have a lot more tools to work with, so the infected need to be stronger. This is in fact about the infected. I play L4D to play as the infected, not the surviors. I can play any fps for guns, not many have the infected gameplay.
