    Yep, that's bad.

    RAM is the cheapest and most effective way to beef up a system.

    Your video card is simply too old and too underpowered to run the game, regardless of how much video RAM it has. You should at least get a 7000 or 8000 series nVidia card, or comparable ATI card to play the game.

    ok thx imma upgrade my ram one more time and get the 7000 or 8000 series of my video card, well actually i bought my video card like not long ago

    would the game run properly if i upgraded my ram and my video card and i have a question about the video card i am planning to get a Sparkle GeForce 8500 GT Video Card - 256MB DDR2, PCI, (Dual Link) DVI, VGA, HDTV, for the video ram it says DDR2 doesn't really matter cause my system ram is DDR ram i dunno this video card is compatible with my computer will this video card do for L4D and for my ram right now i have 703mb as you already know and i supposed to have like 768mb but because my motherboard is 64mb shared with video or my to say my ram but i dunno if the game will detect my computer that it has 1gb
