Thread: Squad 4's Tunis Tea Party

Had some awesome rounds. I ran with Tenrou's squad for a while and we beat the hell out of anyone trying to take silo 3 from us on Minsk. On the second round of Tunis Harbor, we were EU and I led squad 4 that round. Mattscooby is a brilliant commander I'm sure we all know. He had me take my squad to the PAC base right near the start of the round. So I did. We swam across, hid among the crates next to their base and had ourselves a right little tea party.

Of course, we needed some honey for our tea and figured the giant beehive we were sitting next to had to be good for something, lol. Long story short, we gave that beehive a good kick and then spent the whole round swatting bees and dodging bullets. At the height of the action we had a couple squads worth of PAC and the PAC walker coming to join our tea party. We kept them busy the entire round with our badass tea ceremony skills and had a great time doing it. Thanks for ordering us over there Matt. Most fun I've had annoying the other team in a long time. :9

Mind you, your spawn beacon wasn't visible (or we couldn't find it although they looked pretty hard)

So, without the ability to destroy your beacon sure... it caused a lot of havok.

It was tossed up on the backside of the second level on the crate pyramid. We got orbitaled a couple of times and only lost the beacon the 2nd time. It also helped that we basically just defended our beacon area and let them come to us. I think the walker might have found it before the end of the round because that's what kept us from staying back there the last few minutes of the round. That, and me dying right before my squad was about to spawn back on me.

Ahh why you tell em raven that was an awesome spot! In any case we had a blast giving pac a run for there money in there own base. I even got a dog tag or two off you guys.

Heh, Yea I had a good view of the top of that back crate. I knew it was associated with the try-crate stack just because that seems to be where the pods were focusing. I didn't see any beacons. Maybe the orbital had already taken it out by then.

I was the one who brought forward the walker because it seems the only sure-fire way of killing you guys.

Nah, I tossed a second beacon up as soon as the orbital killed it. I think that if you didn't get it, then one of your other guys got it. We killed a guy up on the gas tank thing a few times that would have had a good view of it. I don't know though, once you brought the walker up it was more about trying to hide. I was calling for an orbital to get rid of you but Matt was a bit busy so I started calling for Pilums.

You have no idea how lucky you were that you guys got rid of us when you did. The last thing your walker would have wanted is a group of engineer proctologists with rubber gloves.

Kept that walker out of the fight for at least half a round or more. Our squad did quite good.

Who are you kidding here. You guys kept spawning and I kept killing you. And since with the walker noone was alive to rez you guys.... The walker was IN the fight and getting kill after kill on respawns.

Atleast until you stopped spawning.

I don't know why you say 1/2 the round or more tho. It wasn't until the end of the round that the walker spawned and I got into it. The round was almost over by then (and yes we were losing badly. In fact I think our side lost the previous 4 rounds also). Was someone else in the walker there before I got into it? I was under the impression most of your havok was against foot patrols until I notice the walker spawned in the back base.
