Got booted from BF2 server twice.

Just saw @ 30 or more people disconnected from the BF2 server at 2:02 pm EST, Saturday October 27th.

I got several "problem with your connection" errors where the game hung for nearly 5 seconds.
I was booted shortly afterwards, PB client not responding was the reason on the boot.
I rejoined and was about a minute later for the same issue and was booted again
I doubt that the server is causing the error, but when 30 or more people get kicked, something is up.

For you PB gurus..... does my client report to a parent punkbuster server and if that parent PB server is messing up, does that make me a candidate for a kick? I am assuming thats how PB must work.

That means it's a punkbuster issue. Likely one having to do with their server. I'm sure they'll get it fixed.

The server is full again. Must have been a temporary PB problem. Let the killing resume.

Follow up. Punkbuster reports a server update took place today. I manually ran PBupdate and no more problems. I dont normally need to run updates manually though.

Could be coincidence, will probably never know.

This has been happening for a little while now (at least, this week). It is like the server does a partial purge. Today it wiped a map and left my team with something like 10 players ... gave us the upper hand, although the game was lost well before that point.
My goal is to succeed in any mission - and live to succeed again.
God grant that I may not be found wanting, that I will not fail this sacred trust.

    "bite my shiny metal ...!"

    there are many other servers
... NONE like TPG, the epicenter of team play!

    Importing models from google sketchup

Is anyone using google sketch-up to make models and importing them into hammer? If so are you having any problems? and do you recommend this as a way of modelling a level?

    Cheers

    Tezer
