Re: need admin now
He posted that long before I said anything to you. If it weren't for this post, I wouldn't have known about it.
If you're going to do things like this, then expect some backlash. We aren't here to be nanny's. We just want to play games. You're new here, and you've done some pretty dumb things. But since the issue has been discussed with you, and you've iterated that you understand what we expect, we're ready to move on.
The issue is resolved. Let the comments go, you don't need to keep rehasing everything out that you read.

Limiting FPS without using vsync?
Hello, this question has been posted here a ~year ago, but it never received a proper answer. Maybe things have changed and a handy solution now exists
1. I'd like to limit the maximum FPS. (In my case, to 60.)
2. Vertical sync is out of the question as it introduces mouse lag.
3. I have tried an external FPS limiter (called FPS Limiter 0.2), but Left 4 Dead apparently thinks I'm using some kind of cheat program, and won't let me join online games when using it.
Is there a console command to do this? I went through the command list at the L4D wiki, searching for commands with *fps* but only found showfps.
The reason for limiting the FPS is that otherwise, the GPU draws excess frames for no good reason, gets hot and ends up louder with the fan going insane.
System: Win32, Core 2 Duo 3.0GHz, Geforce GTX 260 216sp.
Thanks!
