Thread: Stat padder

Some people just want to do things the easy way. I'm terrible gamer, but at least I don't cheat. Cheating only ruins the game for the other people playing. My thoughts on cheaters are

For those who have stumbled across this thread, the title is short for Yet Another Left 4 Dead Strategy Guide. I know there have been several posts of this during the course of the games popularity, but I think you may find that this one is a lot more thorough and might even have tips not found in previous guides. I decided to write my own guide for the benefit of friends of mine who are new to the game, and for myself, but am willing to share my knowledge with with anyone else interested.

This guide does not merely focus on how to play the game in co-op or single player, but its primary focus is to those new and interested in Versus Mode, and tips how to play efficiently as both Survivors and the Infected. In all honesty, I am not claiming that I am a pro or '31337' when it comes to versus, However I do play the mode exclusively compared to the others, and have picked up on a lot of tips and scenarios since the first game in doing so.

I think both novice and maybe even so-called expert Versus players will learn a lot from it when its done, but if you would like a sneak-peak at what I have written so far (still working on L4D2-related SI tips) reply here or drop me a private message and we can discuss a method of transfer (email works best IMO). I am also open to any suggestions for improvement to the document too, as I may have left out a thing or two I wasn't aware of .

I would say not too much longer, whenever I play a match I try and think of strategies to include and take down jot notes. It is currently 6 pages and 60KB size on disk, which honestly is rather short but very informative.
