they never learn...
Some people just never learn from their mistakes. We were on the finale of the carnival and I was camping up in the corner of the bleachers. This gives me a front view of everything and no worries about watching my 6. These other three decided to camp on those tall construction platforms in the middle of the bleachers. That's in the middle of everything with a 360 degree window of attack. Again and again and again they keep getting hit by smokers and hunters and dying off early. I'm over in the corner staying alive way past their death and finally die against the tank. We played this game 8 times and they did the same thing every time except the last one when i asked them to camp in the corner and they did and we lasted till almost the end. It worked but then they quit. New people joined and again they scattered all over.........
grrr.

I've seen people do this so many times...I know how frustrating it can be.
You tell them over and over again: This is the best place to camp, if you stand there you'll get swarmed/smoked/charged/pounced/boomed on/etc. Yet they ignore your advice and when things go wrong yell at you for not saving them quickly enough. Just to do it all over again when you end up having to restart.
It is even worse in versus mode when making a mistake will probably cost them their life and your team a ton of points..and thats if everyone doesn't get killed trying to save the one fool. Sometimes it is better just to let them die because they are constantly holding you up and wasting health kits. And people wonder why they get kicked from public games so quickly for doing "nothing".

Right. i let em die and I was the only survivor for minutes at a time. I figured they'd switch screens to my person when they are dead and realize "hmm maybe the corner is a better spot" but noooooooo that never happens.
I played the same level again today and it was with other people who actually knew what they were doing. The four of us held the corner of the bleachers. I would pick off all hunters, smokers, etc while the rest of them focused on the tank and zombies. It worked out perfect and we made it almost to 10 minutes. Killing two tanks at once seems to be tuff...

That annoys me to no end as well! The guy I dealt with was on the opposite side of the bleachers. You know, the one where the infected CAN climb up the side? Yeah... they insisted that this worked because a friend of a friend told them it did. 2 would always die just after the first tank. It was so stupid! They ended up just rage quitting because they couldn't live till the 2nd tank. That's why I don't help people in random public campaigns anymore. Dumb.
