Anyways,

My girlfriend hates anything to do with electornics and especailly gaming. I just keep the subject of games especially BF2 off the topic for discussion. If I dont do this its :8

for me. :2 I have to be secret about my gaming.

thats why us single guys have more hours on the server :10 anyways i have a girl i am trying to get, thats why i havnt been on as often, i always thought that the single life and the game was all i needed, HELL NO!!!!! man i HATE to say this but if the girl says lets do something, screw the team, theylle live. i hate to say that cuz i love helpin the team and playin but a man has got to have his priorities, but of course i am in the middle of trying to win her heart, so i will do anything for her, but crap man if we dont get together then i will fall back into my world of bf2 man i love this game :6

Ahh yes the single life and gaming I remeber the days. Good at first but bad in the end.

I have to bribe her with Gossip Magazines, she will read those for hours. But lately I have to play BF2 at the office or late at night when she is asleep. She can't stand me playing games as it consumes a lot of my time away from her. She is needy and will be the first to admit it. But it's all good since I love her.

She bought me Oblivion when it first came out and regrets that decision still to today. Will not buy me another game ever. And she thinks BF2's intro music is cheesy 70's porn music.

The wife has a love hate relationship with BF2.

1.Love, it gets rid of stress, boredom and cheers me up when we have a good game.
2.Hate, it is always "just one more game" then I am coming to bed. Well that is said around 11pm TX time and I hit bed at 1-2am usually.

It is the only time I can spend with my brother since he is in CA, I will play now and then without him but its a lot funner with him in the server. So she understands that.

I do burn a lot of hours during the week but I also make a point to reserve WIFE TIME. Go out, do stuff, give her loving and attention so I can go back to BF guilt free.

She likes the strategy sim games like Anno, civilization and the ones where you build a city and get happy people. I asked her if we can play against each other and I would use a cheat code to build an army first and come liberate her people from her oppression. She just likes buildling, no tactics or warfare

. So I am building her a MiniATX superfast newegg machine that can play all those games since her laptop is 2003 vintage. Will be a good XMas gift and she wont bother ME during BF2

We also go shooting on the weekends. As if I dont have enough trigger time on BF2.

collecting and shootin AKs is my other hobby.

I did the same thing for my fiance, she got herself a brand new gaming system for her birthday so she's ready for Starcraft 2 and can play WoW at max settings. She's pleased, which means everyone's happy.

thats a good site buddy.
But I see it this way, the hours I spend on BF2, about 2 per night or a total of 6 a week depending on weather can be used doing other things.

Like going to a bar with the guys
watching sports on a big TV drinking beer and eating chips
gambling texas holdem with my sneaky coworkers
watching grass grow
cruising the net for random crap

I choose to do none of the above, save the money and blow those hours online in a great stress relief.

now............the world of warcraft addicts, literally 10+hrs a day?..... THEY need help.
