Yes, yes I would.
About the only mode that I can stand to play pub is Scavenge. Everything else, if you don't end up with a bunch of strangers you will probably end up adding to your Steam friend list because they are awesome, its game over from the lack of communication, map familiarity, clashing personalities, team griefing/raging, and general stupidity (sometimes my own). At least a bit of the silliness could be avoided if people would team switch when the other side loses too many players, otherwise don't expect anything even remotely resembling a fun and challenging game.

Scavenge is perfect for a busy, dad of two like me . . . I can play two full matches in 30 minutes and still feel satisfied.
In terms of Survival - does it say something that I JUST played it for the first time since getting the game on release day? I can see why some people like it, it just feels "cheap" to me . . . which is the point I suppose.Mediocrity at its best.

Realism is awesome...
I don't understand why valve didn't include a VS realism. I think every game mode should have a realism mode option.
Personally i don't really care about survival. Maybe its because of all the jackass's that decided to ruin it by find a safe spot to hide and leaving their xbox on for days.. Although i can be fun if i got a few mins to spare.
And as far as scavenge goes... It can be fun. Depends on the other team.!!!WiCkEd VOooOdooooO TerRrroRR!!!

Scavenge is a nice way to get in some Versus in way less time.
Survival is plenty of fun with friends, or, in my case on the PC, by removing most of the hordes and Tanks and doubling the numbers of Special Infected. Ever had four Hunters, four Chargers, four Smokers, four Jockeys, three Boomers, and three Spitters all at once trying their best to kill you?
