Well, if today's warships are going to be using railguns with a 200 km range and a projectile kinectic energy of roughly 80 MJ (make a 16ft deep 16 ft wide crater and are highly accurate) try to imagine the weapons 140 years from now. :4 :6

A thing about dead center section 1
Everyone seems to rage quit if they dont get an insta kill via charger + window/ledge. and i think its really sad tbh. especially when the amount of times me and my friends have reached the elevator to see the rapid list of people who have left the game appearing in the top left hand corner.
oh no you didnt insta kill someone.... diddums? i mean its not like its game over if u dont. i dont see why this is such a rage quit prone spot for the infected team. theres plenty more of the campaign left u no? Its just really really silly.
this is why we've taking a disliking to doing dead center atm. not many games last much past the elevator in section 1... any1 encountered this problem?

Today I was playing with randoms, got to second level of Dead Center and the other team took a ragequit. Then tried again in a new game and we got through the instakill spot fine at first, but for some reason two guys lagged behind and stayed on the ledge, after I tried to tell em three times to get off there, one of em fell off and the other got jockeyed. And then as I was picking em up I got instakilled. I did a ragequit cause I can't stand playing with people who do not listen and then get you killed. Tried a game of Dark Carnival, we didn't quite make it to the saferoom, but since we did good as infected the other team did a ragequit after two attacks. Dead Center we made the saferoom easily, then killed the other team before the instakill spot, they ragequit. Hard Rain, I told these dudes not to go straight inside, but to follow me up top on the ledge and to drop around to the right by the portapotty. Two guys stay on top of the roof and get seriously fucked up. Save em, then I tell them not to run by the car with the alarm, and the one guy decides to run ahead and gets pounced by a hunter, and I save him again. Other team ragequits before we can even get halfway. People even ragequit when they're doing hella damage. Turned off 360.
I know I shouldn't have ragequit in the first game, it's karma. But ragequitting seems so much worse during the day, and it's so hard to find decent players. And if the lobby leader decides to start the game as soon as I enter the lobby I'll either make them ragequit or find a reason to ragequit myself. But yeah, ragequitting is a huge problem overall and the instakills really get people quitting. It's really frustrating when people get bad instakills though.
Only thing I can say is, play with friends in Team Versus and there's less chance of ragequitting on both sides. I never ragequit if I'm playing with friends, and I notice that while it is still bad, ragequitting isn't as common for the other team, even if we're killing them.

Bottom line is this, although fun insta kills are just plain stupid. I personally think there should be NO insta kills.
If you miss the insta kill some super raging nerd will freak out and yell. Making the team not wanna play together anymore.

Personally i don't care. The only level of Dead Ct I actually like is Dead Ct 2. So if i got insta killed that probably means il start as infected on the next level. ANd the fact that losing the 1st level doesn't mean the game is over. The most points come from the later rounds.!!!WiCkEd VOooOdooooO TerRrroRR!!!
