Well, Me and my brother are planning to buy an Elite at the end of this month, it has alot of memory, and We don't really want to wait 2-4 weeks to get a repair, and we're excited about The Passing. We aren't really sure what to do with the Pro, didn't they Discontinue the Pros? Is there a way to open the 360 up and look at all the wires?

The only thing about getting an elite is your data. When you buy a hard drive separately, it comes with a transfer cable so that you can move all of the data from your old hard drive to the new one. The elite doesn't come with one. You'd have to get a transfer cable if you wanted all of your old data from your first hard drive. I don't know how you'd do that.
And, yes, they did discontinue the pro.

Well... He wouldnt NEED one. He could just get a 16 GB flash drive, cause with the new update, it supports mass storage usb drives, and he could just take the time to transfer data one hard drive to the other. It would save the time and money of looking and purchasing a transfer cable.
DO NOT buy one off the internet. They patched it so it requires a disc to transfer.

I forgot about the usb thing. Never mind then, it'll just be a bigger pain in the ass with the flash drive. I'd still recommend seeing if you can get your hands on one and a disc, maybe from a friend or something. That way you could just plug it in and let it do it's thing.

It comes with a new, standalone hard drive. As far as I know, that's it. Like I already said, never mind. Your suggestion is better, unless he happens to have a friend who has both the disc and cable handy. And seeing as I know where my cable is, but fuck all if I know where the disc is, that is unlikely.
