    Try exiting out of the game and Steam, then delete the filed called ClientRegistry.Blob located in your Steam folder, then restart Steam and let it recreate itself and see if it makes a difference.

    so i fixed the ping problem by uninstalling l4d2, and steam and reinstalling it back.

    now my ping isnt as bad, but i dont think its as great either.

    around 150-300

    ya, thank god. i dont know why uninstalling would help fix it. i realized when i tried tf2, my ping was great, like ~90.

    thanks iggy for the support

    edit: never mind, the problem is persisting again :S
