So no, I don't think we'll play 'The Passing' on Left 4 Dead 1. Has to be a different map.

There are some sound clips added for the DLC where the survivors mention a boat and snow, the L4D1 survivors I mean. Found a video on youtube.

I'm at work so I can't link, just search for Zoeys new lines in The Passing on youtube and you'll get it, replace Zoey with Louis or Francis for their lines.

My personal opinion on what's to come in the next Left 4 Dead.

I think it will start *timewise* at the end of that level "The Parish" for the Left 4 Dead 2 cast, when they get airlifted by the Helicopter.

I don't believe it will have anything to do with how Bill dies, because that is the reason why Valve is developing a Comic book. This, I believe is solely to fill in the plot holes that will be left when they make the second DLC, for the first L4d when Bill is dead. A comic book is an easy and simple solution to solve this problem, since they don't have the voice actor, they're going to simply illustrate it.

I think in the DLC, since there'll only be 3 survivors, you'll be able to choose one of the Survivors from the L4d2 cast to fill that spot, and the dialogue will differ depending on who you choose.

For example, choosing Rochelle results in flirty behavior with Franscis, and girl jokes with Zoey. Or choosing Ellis results in the ongoing flirty affection with Zoey. Nick will fight with Francis. who knows!

Or something similar to that.

Eh, I'm hoping we get to see Bill's personal finale in the new L4D DLC, but I doubt it. I'm pretty sure it will just be a three part campaign explaining how they got from "Blood Harvest" to the bridge in "The Passing". Possibly ending with one of the survivors making a nervous joke about how they're going to decide who has to sacrifice their life to start up the generator. The comic would then explain the decision.
