Not to be a nag but...

I don't think it's the 64 players...understanding all the different nuances and all, still, I've played plenty of 64 games since we switched and hadnt lagged nearly as bad as last night. I mean COME ON, EVEN BIGDOG got my fucking tags...JEEZ!! I jumped down the freakin' vent as Firedog is yelling sentry gun and i jump right and start lagging like crazy (sentry hasn't even started firing yet) i guess i was just running into the wall...and running...and running, maybe i tried crouching too. Next thing i know is i'm freaking dead, biggy types out "whew" and oh well...RESPAWN..

My ping was not high, like around 40 as usual, nothing going on in the background, SLI running good, hell i don't know...i'm not THAT out of date on the PC.

To be honest... it really seems like your PC. Not to bash it or anything...

I live all the way over in California so my ping is usually a lot higher than all you Texans. I rarely see any lag at all on the new server (with the exception of when my roomate decides to download movies, but that is unrelated to the server). And hell, I'm running with 1.5 gigs of ram and a Radeon x1550... It's cheap stuff guys. I'm sure you can afford it.

Lower your graphic settings if you need to.

maybe...maybe not, but like i said, i never had lag issues on 64 since we started it, until last night.

Not to brag but here are the specs on my machine, Intel Core 2 Extreme; 4GB DDR3 1600; 150GB SATA 10,000 RPM; NVIDIA GeForce 8800Ultra 768MB 384-bit GDDR3; 1100W Power Supply, so unless i have a snag someplae i don't think it was hardware related.

With the exception of bigdog getting my tags my experience was the same as K0nTANK3Rous. I have played 64 many times and still had no big issues till that night. Most of my problems are graphic sticks as I am entering the titan in the hallways.

The lag concerns me a little but it's the crashes that are a real downer. If anyone sees a common thread to the crashes or lag. Post up. # of people, people with high pings, possible hackers? Let's hear it!
