Thread: OK HELP!!!

Ok guys im in game and i click the server to connect, then BF2 stops and i cut back to the desktop..... did i delete a file that was important i have a worm recently could that have fed it up i think il try reinstalling later if you guys dont have any ideas...

Could be corrupted files. You could try recovering them in DOS or just reinstall the game, whichever is easier for you.

A couple of things....

First, did the game just crap out second after you entered the playing field?

If so, then you might be having problems with your Audio Drivers.

I had a similiar issue many months ago. The game would start, I would enter the server, and the second it was about to place me in the field, the game would crap out, back to the desktop.

Make sure, you have your audio setting in BF2 set to the appropriate device. Change the device setting and test the results if neccesary, then change it back if that does not help. Then make sure that you have the latest audio drivers installed from your mfg., and that there are no conflicts with other audio devices (like on-board audio). Makiing sure your on-board Audio is either enabled or disabled, is a quick and often redundant step to take, but a neccesary evil indeed.

Are you trying to connect to the vanilla bf2 server or the SF bf2 server? If you are trying to access the SF server, vanilla bf2 may close out trying to access SF but if you don't have it installed, it may just sit there and do nothing.

You could also try reinstalling the last patch.

If you are looking for a good scanner program, go to http://driveragent.com/. I subscribe to the program and its probably the best driver scanner I know and easy to use. The scanning feature is free, it will tell you if any of your hardware drivers are out of date.

Then you hear a chuckle from the guy while he's spectating you yet he's too stupid to realize that your playing like an idiot because you know he's watching.

All this because your team is winning by 4000 points and Mr. Try hard thinks it is a good idea to run off the newbies on the other team by playing like it is a clan match.

Most people talk shit just to find people to play and it's also pretty amusing. Some people trash talk just because they can though.
