That happened to me yesterday. I was trying to get the quickest route to the survivors. Suddenly I walk to where they should enter and it's blocked. I look around, by the time my Frustration Meter is almost empty, and there is literally no way to reach them.
So it spawns someone else as the Tank.
And then he rage-quits.

I hate when people just rush in without thinking and die in a seconds without causing any damage to the enemy team.
Personally i'm not a great tank but I do my best to work with my teammates and seek opportunities to attack. I don't like when people complain about how weak was the tank when they haven't done anything to help him :/
Also I would like to see tanks with more health in campaign mode. Now it's just burn him and run or kill it in a second with autoshotties. My "Being accused of cheating" counter:

And because I use tactics and logical thinking, I can defeat the enemy with minor problem a majority of the time.
Usually I see them looking all directions so I climb above them, wait for them to relax slightly and then either throw a rock down to stun them all, give my team mates an opportunity to attack and then provide assistance for them rather than them cover my arse half the time or I jump down with my finger on the happy punch trigger and slam them when I land in the middle.
That way they don't expect you to be so close and they let their guard down, and get surprised when your fist suddenly appears in their face. That gives them no time to retaliate and that makes their plan fall apart, if they made one to begin with.

I've always felt the tank was weak, even in the first game. Good teams can kill the tank before a player even gets a chance to take control. Or they can run the other direction and set up a situation where the tank only has one path to the survivors.
This is all fine though because the tank is not meant to be a one man killing machine. He's supposed to be a team player and a good tank will not attack without the help of his team mates.
Heres some good tank/team play (skip to 5:40):

Usually when the tank spawns in that location he's dead before he lands a hit. Notice how he waited for a good chance to go in, worked with his team mates, and caused the survivors to waste all of their fire. He also entered the building through a window that most people aren't even aware of. I'm not saying the other team was the greatest in the world but at that location any decent team should be able to take the tank down. It just goes to show how quickly things can turn bad for the survivors if the infected are working together.
