    Laser Designater

Just so I am clear on this, can someone please explain to me how this works? I accidently deleted the guide, so I can't look at that.

JB tried explaining it to me, but I had several squadmates talking to me, infantry running towards my tank, and eneny armnor firing at me.

When using the SOFLAM simply left-click to place a laser target marker. The
marker will stay for 15 seconds and it will attach to vehicles. If you place a
new marker the old one will disappear. To inform the team about you marking
the target you can use the “LASER TARGET” command.
When using the SOFLAM you have access to the “NEED CLOSE AIR SUPPORT” command
in the secondary radio menu. This command relays a request to the commander of your
team. When he accepts it a CAS marker will appear on the map to signify that close air
support (CAS) is required at that location. Friendly air units can then close on this area
to engage marked targets. They can inform you about their approach with the “ON THE WAY” command.

I want to stress call for close air support, not the laser because laser target = JDAM, close air = mark on map for air planes

Also left click(primary) on the target a small green box should show up that there is the laser for guiding bombs.

Like an idiot, I deleted it. Where can I DL it from? I went to the website, and their "guide" just said that the SOFLAM was used to designate targets, thats it. I saw the sticky for the manual, but which one is it thats the full manual?

YouTube - left 4 dead error
Check your Windows Event Viewer to see if there are any error messages that might tell you what is happening. Also check your firewall or antivirus to make sure it is not blocking the application.

Have you tried doing a Verify Integrity of the game files via Steam, just to be sure you don't have a corrupted file?
