    Informal teamkiller complaints

I'd like to lodge an informal complaint about myself... I feel like an asshat.

A couple days ago(?) on Dalian plant I was in a squad (wolverinebrother's I think) defending reactor towers, and was hunting some infantry with me ol' shotty. On the mini map I saw an enemy outside of a building... suddenly, and expectedly, I found myself looking eye to eye with an armed individual. I shot. I killed. Turns out I was so close to the guy I didn't see that little green tag appear above him. That's no excuse however, as the uniform was indeed one of mine.

What makes me feel so bad about this one in particular was how frustrated I made the individual. I had no VALID reason, but did apologise, and picked up his kit to revive him. He left the game. I unfortunately can't recall his name, despite seeing him before, but rest assured that's not something I do at ALL on purpose or too often, and I wish to make a very sincere apology especially since my actions ended the night of gaming. He was a very good squad mate, and shooting him wasn't the best way to show my appreciation.

On the plus side... if you read this, whoever you are, you left in time to avoid getting bombed by a friendly Ranger10 when the flag wasn't even contested It was a hellishly accurate run, too!

    With much regret,

    JABB3RW0CK

OMG!!! YOU WERE KILLER NUMBER 37!!!

Actually probably wasn't me because I didn't log out for the night until 7 maps later but I did manage to get killed by Ranger10 in that fatal bombing run.

    Jabber,

    Very cool.

One of the greatest things about TTP is our communication. Communication reminds us that the game characters are attached to real people. Hopefully your squad mate returns to TTP.

Probably wasn't me, as I usually dont get upset at team kills. Happens too many times to get mad, plus I team killed like 4 already today. What a dumb ass I was. Two times granades, that I know the slip second after I threw, that I shouldn't have.

    Chill man, move forward.

jabber, don't worry man it happens. It nice to see you here apologizing. I have done this also so I know what it's like. All you can do is apologize and move on. Don't let it get to you.

When someone does it to me I will laugh and say no problem unless it was intentional. It's happens and getting upset just ruins things more. Now if every 10 seconds it's boom! sry boom! sry, then I would get upset.

Your right buddy. And that's part of what sets us apart form the average pub surfing player, we actually give a shit about or team mates AND everyone else on the server. Kudos on the post.

    Re: Informal teamkiller complaints

Don't feel so bad to long about it..... Not long ago, I did something dumb twice in V.0613 that I have did before and should have remembered not to do it.

It was on Street and I and a couple of my squads were close and moving in towards gas station and there were enemies on the left side of the street incoming. I pulled a pin on a grenade and was holding it to throw it far and I pulled up my map to get a map view.

Don't do that, the grenade just rolls out of your hand and lands on your boot and you hear it plop on the ground. All you can do is Yell GRENADE and run for cover. If you know how powerful those grenades are in PR, you know 3 or 4 of us took damage and I died.

Then we went to the north side of street in the alley, working our way to market because the street was just too hot. Hiding behind boxes, fixing to take an entire squad out, I pulled the pin, fixing to make a long purty throw and decided to pull my map open to get a good look at where I needed to make this throw. I died again and my squad mates took some damage.

    I know how you feel.
