Is it just me, or does this happen a lot with mutations? Never with campaign, only mutations it seems.

That only happens to me on Expert mode during Dark Carnival, at the second to last level, which is so annoying. I get there easy peasy, then it drops us.
I haven't experienced that problem with Versus mode though.

Me, Dragonheart, Eylof and Adamski had a blast during our run with this mutation.

Me and Dragon attempted this on Expert. Got to the 2nd level of the Parish in 1 minute. Got scared, changed it back to normal but continued to fuck around changing difficulties.

Sorry, but Hard8 seperates the men from the boys. You cant really relax at any point and it forces you to fight and use different tactics. It`s hard, but who wants an easy game?

If you have four good shooters, then Expert Realism is easy on every map, but with this mutation it ups the stakes and gives you a real challenge.

Dark Carnival, for me, is the hardest map, the Concert finale is the best as it really does feel like a fight for survival. You`ve got no real choice but to defend a corner and quickly take out Spitters and those damn Jockeys when the attack starts. Therefore two with the Military snipers and two with AR`s should do the trick.

Ok...

I'm not a fan not because it's hard, it's more I only have one friend who plays the L4D series, and we're never on at the same time due to work commitments... so, I'm always left with pub game, which, as we all know, arn't always the best.

I know that, but I don't think pub games are that bad... well, at least for easy, hehe. I do them mostly for shits and giggles, and since I don't have many friends, I play everything for shits and giggles xP. It's pain in the ass when you want expert, because many people those join keep going down, use supplies when unneeded etc.

As for my opinion on Hard Eight, I think it's great! Finally something else than Four Swordsmen, Chainsaw Massacre or Gib Fest. GF was good for expert achievements, but nothing else than that. And the sounds of chainsaws/M60 all the time are really annoying. Hard Eight is epic and very intense, you're on your toes all the time. It's just plain funny to go out of the gun store when it's supposed to be that silent-moment-when-you-prepare and see 8 of infected coming to you.

That is what this forum is for. Find teammates to have a good game with, and to discuss the series. If you need anyone to have a good time, give us a message and we're on it, those like me, Dragonheart, Ferines, Xuviums, and dozens more, I am sure would be more than happy to play with you.
