Thread: PR is sophisticated.

We have a lot of new changes in v. 0708 and I am still learning how and what still.

All the way from why you build a bunker to deploying a fire base. Your team earns tickets when this gets done and a lot of other advantages as well.

Starting to get the laser targeting figured out a little better.

I think I am going to read the manual again... I need to be a little more fluent on some of this stuff.

I do know that our little 3 man squad with AHC76 and Nuckle and myself had over 100 kills on Zatar Wetlands.... The Counter attack mode on that map is way different than the conquest we had in v. 0609 and v. 0613.

We smoked them last night. Some even got to see the results of the JDAM being Deployed.

and don't forget the teamwork and tactics required.

On the next map after Commander descibes above (Kashan Desert) we had an in-game commander that was a bit slow, but very methodical in his strategy. Our squad rusched and took South Village with no resistence. We then rushed and took South Bunker while some other squads took North Bunker. Our job was then to guard North and South Bunker while the rest of the team attacked North village. It took a long time to get North Village as the US obviously defended vigorously, but the commander was patient and used airstrikes against the defending tanks (laser sighting is truely great) and did not rush the attack on the flag until it was likely we would prevail.

It was fairly boring guarding the two bunkers - with all the action being at North Village - but we persevered with patience and repelled two relatively small attacks on the bunkers by the US forces. Once it was certain that North Village would be capped, our squad rushed down to the US outpost and capped the flag - and then it was all just about over and we won by about 400 tickets.

One of the points I am making here is that while it was fairly boring holding the two bunkers and it was very tempting to join in on the attack of North Village - the fact that we held those two flags enabled us to win the game very quickly once we capped North village. Sometimes you need to be patient and away from the frenetic action for the good of the team - next time round you will be in the thick of the attacking squads
