On the other hand, keep advancing in the direction where you are best, then you will be able to unlock all the kits without having to use the cheap ones in some kits. Then when you are required to play your least best kit, you will already have the best unlock.

I went with the latter option, but see the merit in option one as well.

It's just a matter of personal preference, determiend by your style of play. Wisely choose, you shall.

I went with this method. Pick the unlocks most apt to the kits I played. I have now gotten all but 4 weapons, Snipers and Engineer. I have under 6 hours I think of sniper time and a bit more for the engineer.
