Re: I think I should rename myself to " target drone"
Yeah...I was the same way. What helped greatly was to get in with a SL like Laggy or Frag or one of the others who likes to order up the kits in the squad and just remembered what was asked from me for that map. IE, Titan D = Meds or Support, Titan A = Meds or Recon, Ground pounding on like on Suez = Support with vanilla support gun (Faster rate of fire) or Engineer with Pilum. Ground pounding on Cebere = Suport like before or Meds (That is assault BTW).
Of course that is just my rule of thumb based on my playing style but that is typ. what I run with...Of course I change at the beck and call of my SL.

Running out of ammo mid fight can be a problem. That's where you need to learn to always be aware of how many rounds you have in your clip. If you're uncertain you can finish the clip with 1-2 more kills before going empty, then reload first before moving on. Train yourself to react to the click*click of an empty mag too. Switching to a handgun should be second nature.
And, if you find yourself with the wrong kit for a situation like you said, the squad dies and you're not a medic... Start picking through kits. So many people play assault that you might just find one on a dead squadmate or teammate. Pick up enemy kits if there are any nearby. Kill a nearby enemy if there is one and get his kit. If there's time, you might still be able to save some of your squadmates. The same princple applies to any other kit that might be needed for a given situation.
If you're not an engineer and enemy armor shows up, the best you can do is hope to get on that rorsh or hope an engineer kit shows up in some way, shape, or form. Likewise, support with emp nades can effectively stall armor. Barring that, you're better off running away or finding armor to fight back with.
Last week on Belgrade, I completely ran out of ammo on my assault kit, right down to killing the last guy with my lucky last bullet. So I picked up his kit right after that and then bitched about his engineer kit for a good 30 seconds. It just wasn't what I needed until a tank came rolling into our position past the wall I was crouched behind...

It takes a while to get the hang of things as it were. Try to learn the maps and it will be a great help moving around. In addition, if possible keep moving, as a moving target is harder to hit.
Even with all the time I have spent (more then I would really like people to know) I still get a purple heart on occasion. Just keep practicing and watching other people.
If I'm on line, I see if I can squad up with you.

Come to think of it, I need to learn how to aim again right along with you, Clicky. All that down time I had affected my aim, it took me hundreds of hours to get to where I was too. Considering how much you've improved, I think in a month or so you'll look back and laugh about this.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.
