Did you do the reinstall yet? waiting for up dates. Do the reinstall with game > patch 1.4 > NS > patch 1.4

One you have done that, run the game. Once you freeze and crash go to run>control panel>adminstative tools>event viewer.

On the left you should have a couple of folders to open...open the windows one (I think...can't double check because I don't have vista at work) and the open the application logs.

In there, you will actually see BF with an error from just before when BF crashed. and it will give you more infor on the error and why it stops responding.

If you have want me to walk youthrough this and help make your game work, I am happy to do it...get xfire, let me know when (I am on the west coast) after work and I will help you real time. But install everything first.

Well I reinstalled for the...has to be 5th time and this time it worked and I can play again
