Very high latency - just me?

I have had real problems with glitchy slow play on the bf2142 servers. The latency has been very high. What is going on? Is it just me?

You should try running a tracert and post the contents here: http://www.texasteamplayers.com/index.php?topic=631.300

Start->All Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt then

In the window that opens, type, "tracert 72.232.220.90"

Wait for it to finish then right click the top blue section of the window->Edit->Select All->Edit->Copy

Next, paste this into a reply to the above thread editing out any personal info you feel you need to eliminate.

Wait for a reply, one should come along promptly.

I was just starting up L4D to play The Sacrifice with a friend and everything in it is running super fast, like the game is in fast forward. I have tried restarting L4D multiple times and verifying the game cashe but that's not helping.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

EDIT: Mine got fixed magically, but I have a problem with L4D2, http://www.left4deadforums.com/29478-freezing.html , there's the computer specs and all.
