I remember an 8-bit Zombie MMO that I used to play... I think it was a resident evil fan made game, anyway it was quite cool.

Because half the threads you start only get two or three posts. Thats why im not taking this seriously. And yes i didn't click the link because i dont like MMO's.

You just post dumb stuff. Like PEOPLE HATING L4D2!

So what defines an MMO? I know of them, but I've never played one. Is it effectively like the "Free Roam" sessions in RD:R, where you can roam around a huge map, shooting or teaming up with other players, doing quests etc.? Except, rather than limiting the number of players to say, 10 or so, there could be 100s or even 1000s of people playing?

I have these horrible visions of 100s and 100s of whining kids, roaming around in big gangs, a babble of incomprehensible helium voices, T-King and tea-bagging everything in site and completely ruining my gaming experience.

Undead Labs is the name of the development studio btw, not the actual game. It seems in the very early stages at the moment, there's no game footage as far as I can see, just a few concept art shots here and there.

I'm not a big fan of MMO games either TBH (with the exception of borderlands, which kinda falls within that category)

Whenever I say MMO, games like WoW and RS are what come into mind. Neither of which seem like a worthwhile game. Adamsi's prediction is probably closer than a few others think about this.

Besides, zombies are something that works well with shooters, not MMO's

I read about this quite a while ago, seems cool, im not fond of MMOs but a good zombie MMO was always something i wanted.

I don't like Resident Evil, where it's third person. I want it to be a first person shooter.
That will be fun. Left 4 Dead and Borderlands combined!
