War College Ribbon
Does anyone have the War College Ribbon? It seemed so easy, I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't come up, until I figured out that you need to have a win/loss ration of 2 to 1 to collect, if I read that right... I think that is going to be really hard to get, like a fifty fifty chance of being on the winning team is more likely... I have yet to break the 1.oo ratio mark... just hovering there. Any input? Seems like it places too much emphasis on being on the winning team, quitting while you are ahead; I try to just make the best of whatever team I end up on... make a push for it even if you are getting slaughtered, right? Sometimes I join a game just in time to see my Titan blow up. I can't imagine anyone here as quitters who would leave a losing game just to keep their win/loss ratio up... so I was wondering if maybe I was the only one with this dilemna. I would like to have all of the ribbons eventually, but this doesn't seem very attainable without compromising the way that you play... that is, playing all out whether the outcome looks hopeless or not...

I've got it. It took quite a bit of work up front to make sure I could qualify. Even if you quit while you're ahead, and leave the server before the round ends, you still get credit for the loss. It just so happened in my old clan, we played together as a team so we happened to win quite a bit. Since we won quite a bit, it made it easier. It would be hard to get otherwise since most nights, on the TTP server, you end up .500 at the end of the night.

Hanging out on this server, as the Coyote and Joker said, would be REALLY difficult to get to 2.0. That's why I always say its the Holy Grail of ribbons to get.
Its also another reason why I try to get more people to act as squad leaders and commanders. If you've got good support, you're more likely to pull it off. Average Joe Gamer won't care that you COULD get the ribbon soon, he wants to do what he wants to do because HIS stats are more important than your awards. Around here, get 4 good squad leaders on your team and you'll start ripping out wins all night long.
And I think a well known former Lt. General who hangs out around here could realistically get the ribbon in the future. Currently sitting at a 1.6 ratio. But needs more commander time to qualify......
