You guys should play with us because since our return to L4D1 (my teammates were without internet for months) we've been undefeated as well. We've even been playing against friends (that includes people with GB experience) and reverse pub stompers and have been cleaning up. We had one or two games where the score was close but we always managed to win somehow.
We could use a good ass kicking and you guys shouldn't have too much trouble showing us up.
Send me a message on live when you see me online.

I can back up what Coach said, before we went on GB, my team never lost. The closest games were when we reverse pub stomped.
I don't think it's naturally the people that are on GB that are inherently better - more so that if you keep constantly playing people who are your skill level or better then you, it's just natural for you get get better. Not to mention you get to experience other strategies and playstyles. I can't count how many strategies I've learned from other teams from my experience on Gamebattles. Honestly, one of the worst part of GB is that once you experience real competitive play, going back to pubstomping/reverse pubstomping sucks, it can really kill the game for you if you're looking for good games.
For the most part in L4D, if you have an organized team - you're going to crush the competition unless you guys aren't coordinated or you're just..bad.

Ever since I made the comment that I win at 90% clip if I jump in a random game with 8 mic'rs, I've been pulling it at about 50%.
I'm in a true slump.
I play with my close real life friend and he's pretty good, but I've just surpassed him by so far and he hates it when I tell him things to do. And I honestly lose more often with him on my team than not.
He's truly not bad, but every game we do is an all-mic game where our opponents invite friends.
Tonight I tried so hard to just take over this game, and I was in the process of doing so until I got incapped where the alarm in on Parish 2. Of course, nobody can get me up and we lose. The first mother fucking time I go down it's over. And I almost dodged the charger, I actually forced him to charge me into the side instead of clean off but it ended up not mattering, my friend couldn't get me up and the other 2 were lagging behind because they can't move with a little fucking horde.
Ugh.
Bummin right now.

Absolutely no doubt that chemistry within a team is just as, if not more important than raw talent/experience.
I lost a team Versus before because of just that. 8 friends all connected in some way or the other, but the 4 of them on the other team played all the time together as true pubstompers. Despite the fact we were right there the whole time we just did not have the chemistry to overtake them.
