Why not AF and EF on TTP?

I know that 2142 has the NS maps in the rotation but why not include AF and EF in BF2 now that it is sold in retail stores as well as online. I love those maps but very few servers host them.

That was kinda my question too.. throw them into rotation.. it might help spice it up a bit. And maybe you'll throw EA some buisiness forcing people to get EF and AF cuz they get sick of falling off the server when one of those maps load.

That's why I got NS for 2142...

The only reason I bought NS was because I hated getting booted when the rotation hit one of those maps. I was a TTP fanboy so I bought the maps to stay on the server, even though i rarely play 2142 anymore or ever to start with. BF2 just sang to my heart from day 1 even with the bugs.

I'd like to see the expansions come into play here.

I think that this has been asked. Actually I am fairly certain it was in November prior to the BF2:SF server was activated. I think that the general consensus was that not enough players had those expansions. Give me a few and I'll see if I can locate that poll...

Ok so here it is

BF2/SF/EU/AF POLL

for those to lazy to look it up here are/were the results.

I only have BF2 - 4 (7.3%)
I have SF - 14 (25.5%)
I have Euro Force and Armored Fury - 1 (1.8%)
I have both SF and EU/AF - 29 (52.7%)
I would buy SF/EU/AF if TTP hosted a server - 7 (12.7%)

Well I think that if we give it time anything is possible but I know that we will not put another server online until our BF2:SF server is up on it's feet and nearly self-sufficient.

I would love to see those maps added. Regardless of people not having these expansions. I believe these expansions can be bought used or new at very low prices now. And now that new games are in the works BF2's days may need something to spice it up soon.

If the maps were rotated in to everyother or every two BF maps then people who didn't have the maps would not have to wait long before they could get back on the server.

These are great maps and deserve consideration.

Seriously. I bought a Battlefield 2 Collection dvd for like 30 bucks at Game Stop.. all 4 things plus the newest patch.

I agree Jeep....lots of fun to be had on those maps. I already have the expansions. I got them in the box set for $19.99 when I bought BF2. They are dirt cheap now.

Hey guys,

That would be awesome if the Euro Forces and Armored Fury maps would be loaded and run on the server. Sometimes for me playing the same maps over and over, day after day gets a bit old. I like variety in my gaming life, so bring it brotha!!

If you want some variety in your BF2 gaming life, try out Project Reality or Special Forces. We host both of them and both are very different from Vanilla (although SF is ranked and will add points, badges, and medals to your BF2 score).
