Full Server!

Tonight we had a full server! actually because of someone connecting with a reserve slot we had more than the norm. We had 61! players on Zatar Wetlands!

Just wanted to let everyone know I had a blast, saw many friends in there from clanmates to PR regulars to BF2 regs including the number 7 so I am told player in the world...and of course our newer forum members, I squaded up with blake for a short time then connection issues made me D/C and that was my night back and forth

I'm uploading a cool blackhawk insertion from that match, should be up in a few minutes, story behind it: Squad leader 4 (fuzzhead) requested an evac from center hill, they had a full squad waiting (6 members) so me in the littlebird and Shiizam in the blackhawk (excellent pilot), headed to center hill, i started to take fire, so i got outta there as fast as i could, but he headed on towards squad 4, he picked em up fine and took em back to the carrier, (didn't get that on fraps

). (Fraps starts here). They re-grouped / re-armed and they all jumped back into the blackhawk, so me and a fully loaded blackhawk headed out towards farm, dropped em off outside, and headed back to the carrier, it looked pretty cool

Edit: Damn, this processing upload thing is taking ages!

That was a very good time last night. I think had Kashan been the next map instead of Fools Road we would have retained players. It also seemed like the server lagged while loading Fools Road and since it took forever we lost most of the folks that were playing. Hopefully tonight will be as awesome as that Zatar round.

I liked the fact that we had US and my MEC sqd fighting over a strategically important point, yet it has no flag or anything near it, just a small little group of buildings on the island. It really makes you realize how important proper placement of building assets are as well (and how much I suck at placing them).

were you the mecs at the firebase north of center hill, on the way to LZ2?

that was our USMC sqaud fighting back if it was...

we take out 2 of them they took out 2 of us, sniper took out the aa guy, riffleman took out the sniper.... was a good fight....

I was in Blake's squad at the time and, yes, that was the place

Zatar is up in 2 maps if we get the server populated.

Oh, I know it, as I had to keep clicking on the server name to refresh it untill I saw 59, so I could rapidly hit the Join button to make it in.

I too had the most awesome time on PR last night, I was in a squad with Grogos. I was driving a tank for Noob... (something or the other), we kicked some ass. I got like over 2300+ point in that game alone. I didn't even shoot my gun once I dint think.

I really learned how to properly maneuver a tank, and what my was a a tank driver. Nothing like that in BF2...

Thanks to my squadmates for such an awesome time, and for their patience!
