I recommend making a copy of the original file just in case prior to making any changes.

Edit the following lines:

GeneralSettings.setKillMessagesFilter 1
GeneralSettings.setRadioMessagesFilter 1

Where:

GeneralSettings.setKillMessagesFilter #
1 shows all kill messages
2 shows only kill messages from your squad
3 hides them all.

GeneralSettings.setRadioMessagesFilter #
1 shows all radio messages
3 shows no radio messages

So for instance, my lines list as follows:

GeneralSettings.setKillMessagesFilter 3
GeneralSettings.setRadioMessagesFilter 3

I did the Red part and it only shows me when my squad mates and I get kills or get killed. Realy handy if you see folks being killed by the other team knowing those are your squad mates which better be near by. Reduces the spam significantly to the point reading it can be helpful.

I assumed he ment shape of the gun he was pulling out when reading the weapon.

Only glitch I ever got was I had rdx,apm, and camouflage at the same time. It lasted a whole round. Was pretty nice to have all that shit handy.
