There is an old saying..."If you can beat them....join them".

Well I have been practicing flying a jet when the server isn't populated and yesterday on the Dragon map I decided to fly the jet exclusively. To be honest I didn't do all that well getting kills....but I did get one straffing kill...and it was my good friend Chosen! Glad my first was you Chosen! (I really wish my first strqafing kill had been Snipe!) ROFL

Oh and I went the whole round and did not get shot down!

When I first started flying I had trouble just keeping it in bounds, lol. It's just a question of time. Who knows maybe you're an ace in the making.

Hey Blue, I'm glad to hear you're trying some of the air stuff man...I'm sure you'll get the hang of it, soon your name will be loathed by the opposition. Are you using a joystick? Try flying keyboard only..I've never tried the joystick but I think I get good mobility and control with simply using the keyboard.

I hope I don't see Bluemaxox [F-35] 1 Xavsnipe anytime soon hehehe...see you up there man...

I use a Satek stick with separate throttle with rudder control. I use a mouse and key board when flying the chopper and I am efficient in a chopper. Never considered using key board when flying a jet. Is it easier? Actually you are the first person I have heard of that uses the key board.....enlighten me please 8)

Yea, the guys I know, fly with a joystick. I´ve never tried it, I´ve been too lazy to buy one, plus I don´t live in the States. I live in a third world country (Honduras, Central America) where I can´t find a decent computer store anywhere. And can´t buy it online because it would probably get lost in the process of getting to my house. I´ll have to buy one next time I go to Miami. So, I´ve stuck to only keyboard flying, I think I do well, although with a joystick I bet you can get alot better angles, mainly for evasion purposes (or dog fighting in general).
