Thread: Which is better Xfire or Ventrilo and why?

I have an unused vent server running on my server machine at home. If you're interested in just trying it out to test, send me a PM and I will give you the info to hit it.

Or, just find a pub server. For sure, don't pay for hosting if you're just gonna mess around for a bit.

After finally having the opportunity to have used both Z-fire and Vent, I have to say that both are really useful. First, X-fire is great for managing allf riends,a nd for taking screen shot and for having a great place to store those screen shots.

However, Vent is great managing individulaized groups of communication. But, I only like to use it when IN-GME communication is not avaiable. Otherwise, I shutting VENT down just so I understand what the Hell is being said in my IN-GAME COM. Still too much chatter for my liking.

When playing in tournaments and or matches, it's absolutely Vital; but otherwise, I could do without the VENT.

I don't it have it on right now, but I do have my X-fire on.
