Sometimes P00P, after a few rounds of bashing your head against the impervious wall that is the other team, ya just gotta sign off for a few minutes, or longer, hop on the forums, read some posts, go out and have a smoke (if you're a smoker), and calm the nerves a bit.. then hop back in and hopefully find that things are more even. Or just bash your head against that wall some more.

It can get disheartening, but when it does, just remember the nights that it's NOT.

BF2 has its faults to be sure but I've yet to find another game since its release in 2005 that I find more challenging and fun. Thought perhaps BF2142, Crysis, Quake Wars, CoD4 or Team Fortress 2 would be "IT" but I always seem to get bored with the latest new game after a few months and come back to BF2.

Yes, yes I know, "another one of these threads! you have got to be kidding!" but honestly I think we could all have fun and (for me at least) get that achievement if we can still play seriously enough... Ive gotten god awful close multiple times until my team decided to "Take a break" and leave the area... about 30 minutes later of course the server shuts down... very irritating and it got me pretty angry... but all im asking is for some people to come play have fun and get this once and for all... just add me my XBOX LIVE Gt is Xx ITLxSTALLION

It is VERY hard, especially now due to the changes that were made to the director after the Sacrifice.

I actually made it after around 6 hours and probably 50+ restarts with just bots, but as I was about to get into the rescue chopper the Xbox froze.

The lack of glows doesn't bother me at all; anyone with ears and eyes doesn't need any of that stuff. It's the fact that each common infected is as tough as the smoker or hunter (unless you headshot every one) and certain weapons like the snipers have been nerfed so much they are absolutely useless in expert realism.

Thats rough, especially since you had just bots... if you die the whole round restarts... Not to mention the lack of knowledge to as knowing... well anything. I have tried to play through with bots recently and they only succeed in making me angry it seems. Despite all this negativity working against me, however, I am still going to continue my mission to one day win.

I have made it to the third part of dead center where you have to break the glass and run to turn the alarm up. I was doing it with only one human so if I had more humans I might have beaten that part. My advice is to have a wide variety of different weapons. Also on a team have two defibs and two med packs. Finally have two pain pills and two adrenaline. If anybody wants to play expert realism with me I would be glad to.
