I always spot enemies out using the squad comms, unless people specifically ask for a sat track location of an enemy, or if there's someone sneaking around I want a squad to go kill. Usually, squad leaders respond much better to this, since it cuts down on the radio chatter and they can't see much of the map anyways.

I don't think I'm a bad commander, I'm certainly not one of the best by any means. I think I could do with talking more on the mic, but looking at threads like this, it's hard to gauge. Most of the time I command is because no one else is doing it and the wins I get are mainly due to the skill/verve of the squads on my team.
