I am thinking of buying L4D1. It's $20 which seems like a good price for me. But once Cold Stream releases for L4D2 it will most likely be less, right? So should I get L4D1 or just wait it out for Cold Stream?

You should just purchase it now, might as well, also theres a ' Game of the Year ' edition for Left 4 Dead which I have, you should get that.

It depends; do you feel lucky? It would be bad if VALVe decided to release Cold Stream right as you bought L4D1.

Who knows when that will happen though. If you've got the money to spare, go ahead and get L4D1. A lot of people here think it's the "superior" game anyway.
