Re: Im new
Welcome T-Train. I would stick to being a squad member to start and get the basics down. There are plenty of SL's here that will show you the ropes. Then start branching out. This is a tough server to start on, but the BEST server to start on and continue on. None better nowhere!!!

Re: Im new
I think I was on your team last night while you were commanding... It was disastrous...It´s a pain in the ass to have a noob commander, but the only way you´ll learn is by commanding...so...keep doing it. Just not on my team
Welcome and I look forward to getting you on one of my lists soon. :9

Glad to have you find the forums;
Ignore Xav he can get under your skin
One of the best ways to learn to command is to get on the server early before it gets halfway full. That way you can get a good feel for what works and what doesn't. Accept help from your SL's if they offer it. Don't try to micro-manage the SL's until you really get a good feel for what you need to do to help your team. Remember that your job is to direct, support your team. Provide them with UAV's, Artillery, Vehicle Drops, & Supply Drops. Remember that the best Commander is one who knows how to support his team, he can't do that if he's in a vehicle of any type attempting to fight, or placing himself into positions to get killed. Also, don't be afraid to ask your SL's if there is anything that you can do to help them.
Another good thing to do is find some decent SL's to roll with, learn from them.
***EDIT***: for those that wish to rib people for stepping up and commanding. At least they attempted to help their team. A new commander is better than no commander. An experienced player or squad leader stepping up to the plate is still better than no commander. A seasoned Squad Leader is most definitely better than no commander.
I can't count the times I've entered a game to see no commander on our team. I know for a fact that there are capable players on the team who could command, yet choose not to for whatever reason. If you are one of those people who doesn't take the seat to command then please just help whoever does take the seat. Or maybe grow some hair on your scrotum and make a choice for the team instead of yourself and apply for the commander position.****************11B*************** Look for Pathfinder75thB in TeamSpeak! ***************11B*****************
