I've got a friend who just started playing, who plays on a Mac. They like how I mess around with voice commands and want to do them too. I told them how I'd do it on my PC and it doesn't seem to work for them. So...can they?

They should be able to. But there's a setting that you have to change.

You can also change the startup settings in steam for l4d2 and add -console to the arguments. That should open the console if nothing else does.
