Thread: program not running.. anyone seen this? Fiixed!!!

Did you update vista and everything with the new SP?

i did with no change.. bf stoped running before the vista sp1 and now its not running after sp1.. no change.

i do have a question tho..

i have been using a usb external cd rom drive to keep my bf cd in just about 100% of the time. yesterday because im dealing with Vista I took the cd and loaded it in my compters sata cdrom drive.. bf did not see this drive.. so my question is.. is there an ini file that sets the path for the cd rom drive?

well i got it figured.. and this is so stupid.. in vista, for this game to run you must have at least one user account.. ihad been using the admin account sense i got this computer 4 months ago.. so a few days ago i deleted the extra user accounts.. added a regular user account and now i can run bf in either account... stupid.. but it is what it is.
