Thread: Stupid re-install

Ok I finally got BF2142 re-installed. When I typed in my name and PW it told me that my CD key has already been registered. NO SHIT. It's my game. So now it won't let me even log in.

EA's support is worthless.

I did last night. I actually got a response this morning. But then I had to give them all my information and my first born. So we'll see how it goes.

hey worst... there is a *.exe file in the battlefield folder that will erase your cd key and another that will let you retype it in.. i just did a reinstall and had to delete the cd key then run the program (then i got a message to insert cd key) then went to the cdkey file and reinserted the cd key and it worked. just my 2c...

I'll see what EA says first. Then I'll try that.

They actually came through and helped me out.

I can't wait till they get a patch out for it to fix midnight crying. Its totally broken.
