logging onto server

am i the only one that cannot log onto bf2 if so what happened never had a problem until today when i try to sign on just come up with an error

This might get moved but it seems more related directly to BF2 than a crash situation.

I heard quite a number of people having trouble logging in yesterday (when they finally got on) and I fell victim myself this morning. I found that killing BF2, rebooting, logging a different account didnt work - BUT, changing the BF2 mod launched did. I normally load with special forces (green BF2 logo). Switching to the other (kinda orangish logo) let me login straight away. No idea if that will help anyone else nor what causes the problem - just what worked for me.
